About:
Chatham Community Church was founded by our Pastor Emeritus, Randy Russell over a decade ago near Pittsboro. Today, Alex Kirk pastors this growing and vibrant church in Chatham County with two locations – Woods Charter School in North Chatham County and Chatham Mills Ministry Space in Pittsboro.
Focus Points/Highlights of Ministry:
- In March of 2017, they started a second campus in downtown Pittsboro. They celebrate God’s faithfulness as that site grows at a pace we never expected!
- Meanwhile in Northern Chatham, they will pay off our land by summer of 2018 and we have begun the putting together a building team and interviewing construction companies.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for Chatham County. It’s the second fastest growing county in the state and it continues to be an underserved community in many ways, including churches. They feel compelled to be a funnel of grace and blessing to Chatham County; ask that God would give them wisdom as they discern what that looks like.
- Pray for their staff team as they try to keep up with the various demands.
- Prayer for their wonderful volunteers and leaders at every level, that the gospel might fuel their service.
