Andrew came to faith in Jesus Christ through InterVarsity’s ministry at Duke University. His long walk to faith demonstrates the power of prayer: when he became a follower of Jesus Christ five years after college, he heard from hundreds of InterVarsity students, friends and churches who had continued to pray for him long after he had graduated.
Andrew joined InterVarsity in 2010, and serves as Chief Development Officer. His wife Marnie is a reading education expert and performs research to teach struggling readers in the poorest, most rural school systems in America. They moved from North Carolina to Madison, Wisconsin with their three daughters.
Focus Points/Highlights of Ministry:
I am responsible for crafting a plan to reach all 2,500 campuses in the United States by 2030. InterVarsity will launch this 2030 Calling in July of this year, and I will lead a team to raise about $110,000,000, so that every student in America is one friend away from the gospel.
Pray for the Lord’s discernment! Pray for abounding energy and the ability to what has become a large movement (about 1,700 staff and 30,000 potential volunteers) in an aligned direction.
