Adam & Hope Smith serve as the Team Leaders for the Athletes in Action ministry at UNC. They are passionate about introducing athletes to a relationship with Christ, building into them during their time in college, and sending them out into whatever mission field God has for them in life. Please pray for their daily dependence on the Spirit, and for wisdom and discernment as they lead their team and strive to partner well with FCA, that this relationship would be a display of gospel unity and humility. Please also pray for athletes to truly recognize their need for Jesus and for their hearts to be open to his life-giving Spirit.

MISSION
To cultivate Christian life and thought at UNC.
VISION
For UNC to know Christ’s love and truth thanks to the hospitality, thoughtfulness and joy of the extended Christian community.
PRIORITIES
There are several priorities we focus on as we undertake our mission:
Chatham Community Church was founded by our Pastor Emeritus, Randy Russell over a decade ago near Pittsboro. Today, Alex Kirk pastors this growing and vibrant church in Chatham County with two locations – Woods Charter School in North Chatham County and Chatham Mills Ministry Space in Pittsboro.
Daniel and Timothy started dreaming and praying about a downtown church in Durham, NC in 2010. The dream became a reality when an initial group committed to meeting in June 2013 for weekly Bible study, prayer, and discussion on the church. We officially launched our first public worship service January 2014. God has been gracious to raise up many partners including Church of the Good Shepherd, Chapel Hill Bible Church, and Eastern Carolina Presbytery, and has grown our congregation in so many ways. We are excited about where we are and where the Lord is taking us!
Hugh and Julie serve on the UNC campus as coordinators for Bridges International – a ministry that specifically focuses on international students. Bridges International seeks to help international students through service activities, social networking, and spiritual resources.
Pregnancy Support Services (PSS) serves Durham and Chapel Hill women assistance when facing an unplanned pregnancy. They also offer Healthy Relationship education to local schools and organizations.
World Relief Durham is a dedicated staff team working together with refugees, the Church, and community partners to help refugees integrate and thrive in the Triangle.
